MCNet Berlin Reunion
This issue will highlight the recent CLI Consultation near Berlin, Germany. On the last night of the CLI meeting, some of the team headed into Berlin to meet up with Gary and Gail.
Gary had planted and pastored a church while in Berlin until the mid 2000s and that is when they connected with the Jeskes. Since then Gary and Phil have together taught leaders in many countries. Gary and Gail just happened to be in Berlin for their son’s marriage reception on the same weekend and so were able to reunite with some members of the Ministry Coaching (MCNet) team for a few hours. They currently live in Colorado and Gary continues to serve on the board of ICM Canada.
Change Lives
“After being with you in Germany we traveled to Magnitgorsk and Volgograd in eastern Russian and the ministry there went well. Sixteen people were baptized which included whole families (both husbands, wives and teenagers). We also taught the ICM First Team marriage seminars
with them for three days. We discussed the foundation of marriage, communication, solving conflicts and raising children. About 40 families including the bishop and his wife participated. It went really well.”

Magdeburg Connection
In the current geopolitical situation, finding a country that most team members can get a visa to, as well as somewhere that is convenient for international travel is sometimes a challenge. This time the MCNet CLI meeting was held close to the city of Magdeburg (1.5 hrs west of Berlin), hosted by MCNet Coaches, Karl and Claudia. On Sunday, the team was able to visit their church service and see
firsthand what God is doing through their ministry in the city. They have transitioned to a bilingual service (German-English) as they have many international attendees from India, Iran, Latin America, as well as Eastern Europe. Carlos (our Latin American Rep. from DR) was also able to share the Word with the church and the team was able to pray with and for the church.
