Earlier this year Deo traveled to his home country, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), to be involved in some humanitarian projects, as well as training leaders. You may recall that Deo grew up in DRC and was a trained Imam and taught Islamology in Tanzania before he had a miraculous conversion (you can see his story on our YouTube channel, MCNet Intl). He currently is based out of the United States, but regularly travels and serves in West Africa.

On this last trip he was able to distribute solar audio Bibles as well as clean water devices and provide food to those in need. In addition to this, he visited several villages to train local Christian leaders and assist in peace and reconciliation meetings between several tribes in the DRC.

Thank you for your continued prayers for Deo’s ministry and the church in DRC and West Africa. The needs are truly great in this region of the world, but God is building his Church. The goal of Deo’s ministry is to come alongside of the church leaders to equip them to reach the spiritual and physical needs of those in their communities.
