The Spiritual Gifts are special abilities and qualities given my God to believers in order to fulfill the purpose of his Body here on earth. While it is important for a leader to discover their natural abilities and talents, in order to be most effective in serving the Body of Christ, they need to also identify the gifts that God has given them to serve His people. Together with a leader’s character and values, understanding one’s gifts is essential in fulfilling one’s life and ministry purpose as a leader.

Description

CLI – Christian Leadership Institute: Module 1.0 Personal Life

This module of leadership competency explores the private life and personal management skills that are necessary for a Christian leader to serve well for the duration of their life. It identifies the areas of life that require a high level of self-awareness so that the developing leader recognizes the path to healthy success as well as identifying possible pitfalls that can undermine their effectiveness or sideline them from service. This module also seeks to analyze spiritual gifts, personality traits, values and assumptions that shape the way a person leads, taking into consideration strengths and weaknesses, for the purpose of having a greater understanding of their leadership tendencies, philosophy and capacity.
