Complete competency syllabus and all reading materials

All believers have been called to be ministers of reconciliation in a fallen world (2 Cor. 5:18). This calling is not limited to a few believers but is for all; we are all a chosen people and a royal priesthood (I Peter 2:5, 9-10). However, according to our gifts, some have been given the opportunity and responsibility to have a role of equipping other believers in the Body of Christ. This sphere of influence or “ministry” is not so much a position as it is an avenue of service to others. This study focuses on this sphere of leadership and so it is crucial for the leader to fully comprehend the purpose of God in their life in order to be effective.

Description

CLI – Christian Leadership Institute: Module 1.0 Personal Life

This module of leadership competency explores the private life and personal management skills that are necessary for a Christian leader to serve well for the duration of their life. It identifies the areas of life that require a high level of self-awareness so that the developing leader recognizes the path to healthy success as well as identifying possible pitfalls that can undermine their effectiveness or sideline them from service. This module also seeks to analyze spiritual gifts, personality traits, values and assumptions that shape the way a person leads, taking into consideration strengths and weaknesses, for the purpose of having a greater understanding of their leadership tendencies, philosophy and capacity.
