They are also provided as stand-alone tools, although it is recommended that they be used together with the corresponding workshop or teaching material. CHEA – Church Health and Effectiveness Assessment

This 75 question survey is designed to assess the health of a church and its ministries. The purpose of this assessment is to determine short, medium, and long term goals that will help point the church toward reaching its potential. It will assist leaders learn about the current state of their ministry so that a measurable plan can be implemented. It can be administered as a small group synthesis and summary or a comparative data analysis.

The questions evaluate fifteen categories that include the six categories of the Flow Chart and the four categories of the Life Cycle. Notes of explanation are also included for both the Flow Chart and Life Cycle to help in the explanation of the results. This tool is also included in the Coaching Guide and it is recommended that this assessment be administered together with that Guide or together with one of our Coaching team.
